Molunat – a small romantic fishing place where many archeological sites are found in the sea as well as on the land. It is an ecologic preserved nature with a lot of the Mediterranean medical herbs, a very interesting coast with quite little and shallow bays where the small rocks emerge out of the sea giving unforgetgettable impression to the visitors. Molunat is an ideal tourist resort for those who want to run away form urban and noisy streets looking for a peace. It is wonderful experience to meet the nature as well as enjoyment in mild Mediterranean climate with very hot summers. The afternoon “Mistral”, a summer wind blowing from the sea may to refresh the hot summer day and with mild cold winters.
Villa Marin is situated close to the sea shore with the beautiful view to the whole bay and the open sea. It has 8 apartments (2 studio apartments), equipped with air-condition and satellite TV. There is a restaurant with traditional Mediterranean cuisine, based on domestic fresh fish, vegetables, and meat products dressed with Dalmatian oil and other domestic spices.
The guest may use a swimming pool with a big terrace for sitting in the sun or relaxing after all day swimming, on the sandy beaches in Molunat. We offer our guest some attractions as picnics in the nature, fishing, or some other sport activities.
The sea coast from Molunat to Prevlaka is very rocky, but the sea is rich with fish, and the sea is so clear that the bottom can be seen.In Molunat and the Prevlaka there are beautiful places for swimming all of the hidden from curios views. Prevlaka – Ponta Ostra is the south’s Konavle and the Republic Of Croatia. The place can be also reached by land by “Jadranska Magistrala” from Gruda to Molunat, the to the small village Djurinici and on to Vitaljina.
CULTURAL AND HISTORICAL MONUMENT
St. Nicola Church, which was built by seamen and fishermen, a patron of Seamen and travelers. Very close (11 km) is the national Park Prevlaka. The fortress Oštro built in 1441 by the Republic Of Dubrovnik to protest the people of Konavle. The fortress was reconstructed in 1850 by the Austro-Hungary monarchy and is an historical attraction of the Park.
NATURAL ATRACTIONS
“Blue Harbor” and “On the bridge” are two natural caves on the rocky coast of Molunat are indeed very interesting natural attractions. The islands “Veliki i mali Škoj” situated in the bay of the Molunat, are covered with the meditarrean vegetation and represent the real untouched environment and nature. The cliffs close to Molunat are the real natural attraction as the local people say.
